about

From the upcoming album, “Sunken Road”

Writing songs about real things almost seems easy until you try and do it and make it something you’d like to hear.
Like all good true stories, these are entirely fictitious; crafted from facts and falsehoods, shaped around misconceptions and convenient omissions.
This is how you know they’re real.

Thanks to Amy & the kids for putting up with me and to my folks for giving me the guitar 30 years ago on which I played these songs.
Thanks also Ben Taylor, Nick Mitchell Maiato, Kevin Hill, the dudes at HFPod & the ‘Paug.

He works a day-job by day, hosts The Brokedown Podcast by night, and tries to spend time with his family in between.
