about

Last year, I recorded one of my favorite Christmas songs. This year I had another in mind but, this one came along.

I've been fortunate not to miss many holidays with my loved ones but I used to spend a lot of my time on the rails riding back and forth to work. Missing that early train home on Christmas Eve surely meant a long wait, which I might pass at the bar watching the holiday celebrants, last minute shoppers, and families making their own way home as I waited for train to be called. That's a lonely feeling.

I hope this holiday season brings you together with the ones that you love and this little tune reminds you of how special that can be.

Speaking of loved ones, I was lucky enough to get one of my daughters and my wife to join in on the backing vocals for this one which makes even more special for me.
